MIRVISH THEATRE

Looking for entertainment over the holiday period that’s less glitter and more grit? Mirvish Theatre is currently presenting their Off-Mirvish series, which celebrates the wealth of talent in the Toronto theatre community.

On now until December 16, TERMINUS was one of the hottest tickets at this year’s SummerWorks Festival. The play stars Maev Beaty, Ava Jane Markus, Adam Kenneth Wilson and follows three interwoven stories set in contemporary Ireland, in heightened language and in rhyming verse. Powerful, thought-provoking and utterly beautiful to look at and listen to, TERMINUS plays at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in the heart of King West.

Further down the (yellow brick) road, Mirvish also offers families a journey to Oz with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production of The Wizard of Oz. This show promises to be an enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic. From Dec 20 – Jan 6, 2013 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. Tickets priced from $59. For more information, visit www.mirvish.com.
