Once each year when the sun goes down, Toronto comes alive for an evening to appreciate arts and culture in our city for Nuit Blanche, and King Blue was up all night celebrating at our Presentation Centre in the heart of the Entertainment District.
With our own salut to the nighttime festival at the corner of King Street West and Blue Jays Way, we enjoyed live performances by actors from Shakespeare in Action who were on hand with their modern renditions of some of William Shakespeare’s most popular plays.
Our Presentation Centre was seen in a whole new light after dark as the space welcomed in Nuit Blanche-goers to watch the King Blue model suite transform into the set for plays such as Romeo & Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The outdoor balcony overlooking King Street West served as the perfect place for Juliet to profess her love for Romeo, our famous black and white hallway entrance saw a dramatic swordfight and the two young star-crossed lovers looked right at home in our Munge Leung-designed model suite.
Guests not only got to enjoy the dramatic performances of the evening as they stopped by the historic Westinghouse Building, but also had the opportunity to learn more about our King Blue Condo suites and Westinghouse Lofts as well as special incentives for the weekend, including $10,000 off the purchase of their new home right in the heart of our city’s hub for all things culture and art.
Check out some of the photo and video highlights us night owls enjoyed at our Nuit Blanche celebration at King Blue on our Facebook and Twitter pages as well.
